When terrorist attacks are performed by a lycan resistance force, new laws come in to play and it all spirals out of control.The book is centred on the stories of Claire, a college student who has no idea about her parents past until it comes back to haunt the...m changing her life forever, and Patrick, the sole survivor of the first terrorist attack who's father is in the military fighting in the Lycan Republic. These two people meet by chance and this encounter has repercussions for both of them.This book started off a little bit slow and I did find that it dragged a little bit in the middle but overall I enjoyed the plot and pace :)

Impressive! I've been in a bit of a reading slump lately. I haven't been able to find a book that catches my interest and manages to hold it throughout the rest of the story, but this one did it.This novel is rife with political undertones but I won't hold that against it, I promise. It's an intriguing book, with interesting characters and rather creepy situations. It seems like it was written to be a movie and I'm ok with that.I've heard that people feel the ending was rushed, but I don't agree. It ended like it should have. A bit jumbled and without a nicely wrapped up resolution.Happy to feel like I'm back in the game reading wise!MoreLess Read More Read Less
